At the Smithsonian Craft Show in April I was at last able to meet Fran Durako in person. She is the owner of The Kelmscott Bookshop in Baltimore www.kelmscottbookshop.com and has been following my artist books and book objects for some time. The store is best known for its fine & antiquarian book inventory, print collection, illuminated manuscripts, and restoration services, and I am delighted that Fran is taking on the placement of my work in private and university collections.
In early June she will take Map Room Box and Journals to the London Book Fair www.olympiabookfair.com , and it will be interesting to get a report of response to the piece.
